    That’s my back fence on the left and I would just like to say there is mint and oregano, lavender, violets, lemon trees, chillis, tomatoes and lemon grass all growing just beyond that mattress.

    all things grow, are consumed and return to the soil to give new life. with the exception of anthropogenic culture, where things are exploited, divided, wasted and made toxic. that’s progress for you…

    I imagine that Walter Benjamin was thinking that when he said:
    “The true content of a thing is only released in the object’s after-life, when the context in which it originally existed has disappeared.”
